Grew up with Marathon and Marathon 2, playing Myth the Fallen Lords and Myth 2 Soulblighter. I just wish after The Wolf Age the game had continued to see more iterative releases as I play Myth 2 Soulblighter to this day and would have loved to see a continuation.
I remember finding out about this game in 1999 in my local mall's Software Etc. It was supposed to be for PC from the guys who did Marathon on Mac..Bungie of course. I was kinda interested. Then it went Xbox exclusive and I forgot about it. I finally played it on PC many years later. I didn't think it was very good. Marginal. You basically played half the game then went backwards through what you'd just played. I felt it was lazy on the devs. I did play Halo 2 and all the rest. I own many of them for Xbox 360. Wife got me a Xbox 360 Elite for my birthday in 2010. God rest her blessed soul. I still love the setting and story of Halo but the games have gotten better with each one to a point. I didn't play the last one though.

That entire thing about kidnapping children. Never made sense to me. If they have cloning technology why not just get samples from the doctor clone the children. Mass-produce the super soldiers instead of creating that whole hey we're kidnappers. Were taking the children to turn them into monsters that kill aliens bit. It never made sense.

That was great I would love to see more like this. Honestly I never knew the history of Halo's creation and it's one of my favorite games. Maybe Command & Conquer series next, minus Command and Conquer 4 of course
