Thank you! I am trying to learn about my 1978 Puch Maxi Luxe that I got. This helps!!!
Very nice effort n explanation
Very informative, very interesting.
Engines are such beautiful human inventions.
A 2-stroke makes much more power, given the same displacement of a 4-stroke, because the 2-stroke performs 2x the work in the same amount of time. That's also why a 2-stroke's powerband hits so much harder when it comes on. That dead, wasted stroke in a 4-stroke smooths out power delivery. That's the simple explanation but it goes even further.
As mentioned, a 4-stroke literally wastes an entire stroke doing nothing but opening and closing valves. This process also wastes energy working the valve train/mechanism, a mechanism omitted in a 2-stroke. The 2-stroke is far more efficient at using the energy it produces and transferring it to the driveshaft, with minimal losses.
Changing your rotation from clockwise to counter-clockwise kinda rattled my brain. Otherwise good.
Great video!
Thank you for making this.
Simply superrr
I think you forgot to mention about lubrication part of the engine.
Sir ,if we pass air-fuel mixture through crankcase ,then how will you lubricate the crankshaft!…???
Thq sir
A stroke is when the piston moves from tdc (top dead center) to bdc (bottom dead center) or from bdc to tdc. 4 stroke engine has 4 strokes. Intake(tdc to bdc), compression(bdc to tdc), power(tdc to bdc), exhaust(bdc to tdc). As said in the video a 2 stroke is this process but cutting the number of stokes in half by combining the intake and compression stroke together and then combining the power and exhaust stroke together. Im just clarifying some of the details not criticizing the video as I find it very informative.
That engine has zero compression.
I watched so many videos but I was not so cleared.but you just nailed it never ever going to forget about this engine and the sad truth is it's going to bang
Tqs sir
Useful
Thank you
