Is there another site that can be used besides inkscape? It doesn't seem to be available any more 🙁

Okay I tried this three times and it kept coming out way too small until I tried it without scaling, then when I printed it to test the size, it was fine. I just had to adjust the size in DS because it imports too small.

Great details on how to, and so easy to understand. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything ! xo

Thank you for this video – I learn a lot from it, especially new techniques using Inkscape.

I am trying this tutorial out but have a little problem.  I am wondering how to scan my image so that I get only the stamp and not the whole 8.5×11 background with it.  Is there a simpler way instead of having to go in node by node and trace it? I am new to this whole inkscape thing and I'm kinda lost.  Any help would be appreciated.

When you do this in Inkspace, do you use the 30% rule on ALL stamps? Please advise. Oh my, I love the way you teach. It is so clear and easy to follow. Thank you so much for all you do guys!

Ack I need help.  I have the Penny Black Snowy stamp and this technique is not working.  Is there something  I need to do to get this to work?  It has so many open spaces that I can't seem to get it all black for just the background if that makes sense.  (It doesn't have a solid outline to follow)

Kaye – you can only use SVGs with the Cricut Explore. Design Space does not work with the Expression 2.

Can I get Design studio software to use on my Cricut Expression 2 and cut svg files?

Great video!  I am sharing it on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog for this week's Thursday Tutorial!

Can I ask a question?  I have the Damask Decor cart.  I am trying to make a card from the teapot.  Is there a way to take an image that has a part cut out and fill it in to be solid?  Thanks, enjoy your videos guys!

Have I said how much you Two rock my world??? I was off on my own thing thinking I could figure this out myself.. (stamps, SVG files, Explore).  I tried everything I could think of for a week. I got close to having the nice smooth lines on the cut and almost the dimensions.. but not quite…   Finally after being told numerous times .. they have videos for that… I logged on to my favorite "how Two" site, and watched the video with my drawing program and scanned stamp file and design space.  Followed step by step with the video… Voila!  I had my perfect stamp outline cut! Now I'm wondering why I was so stubborn as to not watch for a week.  Thanks so much guys!

Thanks for sharing. I really wanted to be able to do something like that with my stamps. All the wafer thin dies get to be really expensive and not all stamp sets have dies to go with them. Thanks again!

Is it possible to do this with the CTMH stamps? Would you just scan the carrier sheet and separate each image into their own file?

Wowsers!!  Thank you so much for providing this great video!  Yes, I had to watch it 3 times and follow along with you in Inkscape and the Cricut DS.  The third time was the charm.  SUCCESS!!  I created my very own, very first SVG file of one of my stamped images!  Yes, it appears that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!  Again, thank you so, so much!  I am eternally grateful.  No more sloppy, hand-cut stamped images for this girlie!!
